Northern
International Medical College Offers 5 years MBBS course as
approved by the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council, leading to MBBS
degree of the University of Dhaka and one years internship training
at Northern International Medical College & Hospital. The academic
session shall be from July to June each year.
The goal of the
college is to provide on excellent broad based education with a
focus on professional development for the students to equip them
with knowledge, skill and attitude necessary not only to address the
priority health problems of the community but also to acquire a firm
basis for future training and studies.
The college is
committed to ensure high academic standard by implementing a well
designed curricula, utilizing modern and effective instructional
methods and aids including information technology, providing the
right environment for faculty development and by continuously
monitoring and rigorously evaluating all the activities and systems.

During the five
years MBBS Course, the University of Dhaka will conduct three
professional examinations namely I) The First Professional MBBS
Examination at the end of 1.50 years ii) The Second Professional
MBBS Examination at the end of 3.50 years and iii) The Final
Professional MBBS Examination at the end of 5 years. There will be
two Professional Examinations in the first week of January and July
each year.
